Comprehensive private health insurance
R+V Krankenversicherung offers the comprehensive private health insurance plans Agil Classic Pro, Agil Comfort and Agil Premium. With the comfort and premium plans, insured persons are accommodated in single or twin rooms during hospital stays and are treated by the head physician. While the classic pro and comfort plans are only valid for six months in other EU countries, the premium plan is also valid for an unlimited period abroad.

Regardless of the health insurance plan, R+V Krankenversicherung policyholders can switch to another plan without undergoing a new medical examination. This gives policyholders the flexibility to decide which insurance coverage is right for them at any given time. Suppose no medical bills are submitted to R+V Krankenversicherung for more than a year. In that case, policyholders receive a refund of part of the monthly premiums. Preventive medical check-ups and vaccinations can be submitted without jeopardizing premium refunds.

Tariffs for civil servants
Civil servants can choose between three health insurance plans with R+V Krankenversicherung. The Beihilfe classic plan covers dental, outpatient and inpatient benefits. The Beihilfe comfort and Beihilfe premium plans also include hospital accommodation in a single or double room. All plans offer a discount for civil servant candidates.

Supplementary insurance
In addition to the three full insurance plans, R+V Krankenversicherung offers a selection of supplementary insurance policies. The range extends from daily sickness allowance and daily hospital allowance insurance to premium relief in old age, travel health insurance, naturopathic treatment insurance, insurance for visual aids and daily nursing allowance.
