Contribution to long-term care insurance

Here you can calculate your contribution to long-term care insurance

Here you can calculate your contribution to long-term care insurance. The contribution is paid to the health insurance company and is the same for all health insurance companies. Nursing care insurance is compulsory insurance. If you have statutory health insurance, you pay the contribution to your health insurance fund. You can find more information on long-term care insurance here.

The contribution to long-term care insurance is graduated according to the number of children. Those without children pay 4 percent of their gross income or pension. Insured persons with children pay 3.4 percent. Children in the child-rearing phase up to 25 further reduce the contribution. Employers always pay a share of 1.7 percent of the contribution to long-term care insurance. Here you can read exactly how the contribution is calculated.
